Throughout 2021, GSP identified four subregions across the 3-county region it represents and hosted discussion forums with key stakeholders representing each one of them. The subregions comprised: East King County, South King County, Snohomish County, and Pierce County. The first round of forums yielded insightful feedback into the unique needs and challenges these communities face, and their growth trajectories across key industries and subsectors.
In 2022, GSP will launch a second round of meetings with these stakeholders with a renewed focus on alignment to create a regional asset inventory, explore joint strategies for targeted business attraction across geographies with significant equity gaps, and elevate success stories to elevate the brand for these communities in our region.
